Organizations invest heavily in transformation, improvement and new technology. Yet useful learning often remains local, improvements depend on the people who created them, and the next change can require the organization to mobilize another transformation effort from scratch.
The Adapt Again System™ explores a different question: what would it take for each experience of change to leave the organization more capable of adapting the next time?
The Founding Edition introduces the framework's core concepts, including Transformation Capability, the Two Horizons, the Adapt Again mechanism, the conditions that support adaptation, and an evidence model for distinguishing activity and adoption from sustained organizational value and capability.
Who it is for
The Founding Edition is for organizations navigating repeated change, whether triggered by technology, customer expectations, regulation, strategy, operating-model shifts or changing conditions.
It is particularly relevant where meaningful improvements are already happening, but the organization is asking a bigger question: are these experiences leaving us more capable of adapting when the next trigger arrives?
Why a Founding Edition
Founding Edition 1.0 establishes the first fixed, attributable version of The Adapt Again System™. It provides a stable reference point for the framework while the research and practitioner inquiry around it continue to develop.
Future editions will be identified separately, with substantive changes recorded. The web experience provides orientation to the framework, while the research continues to evolve separately.

Founding Edition 1.0 is published as a fixed, citable publication on Zenodo.
